Famous Flamenco Guitarist & Composer
Mahmood Shahsavari, born on December 18, 2002, in Aligudarz, Lorestan, Iran, is a young yet acclaimed Flamenco guitarist and composer. Known for his passionate and technically refined playing, blending tradition with innovation, he has emerged as one of the most influential figures of the new generation of Flamenco music in Iran. Through his performances on prestigious stages such as Roudaki Hall in Tehran, international releases, and extensive educational activities, Shahsavari has inspired many students and audiences across the country. His mission is to expand awareness of Flamenco guitar in Iran and to elevate its standards both nationally and locally.
Artistic Journey
Shahsavari began playing music at the age of 12. After years of practicing classical guitar, he discovered Flamenco through the iconic performance of Paco de Lucía’s Entre Dos Aguas on YouTube, which became the turning point of his artistic journey. He began studying Flamenco guitar under the guidance of master Pezhman Noor and continues to believe that the path of learning in music is endless.

Teaching & Educational Activities
Since 2023, Shahsavari has been dedicated to teaching Flamenco and guitar in private, group, and online formats, nurturing hundreds of students across Iran. Several of his students have achieved top ranks in guitar competitions at both county and provincial levels.
On July 18, 2025, he hosted a free Flamenco Guitar Workshop at Delnavazan Music Academy in Aligudarz, which received wide public acclaim. Certificates of participation were awarded to all attendees.

Artistic Statement (Mission & Vision)
I believe music helps us become better human beings at any stage of life. My artistic mission is to introduce Flamenco guitar to Iranian audiences in a deeper way, to raise the musical standards in my province and beyond, and to inspire the next generation of musicians through performance, composition, and education.
